This results in many benefits for our clients, as they optimize costs in logistics, minimize storage space, ensure permanent stock and import more efficiently: all of this is at hand’s reach when hiring our QMS solution for metal drums.

With this system, metal components are received, dispatched compactly, to manufacture 55 or 60-gallon drums. The components are assembled at the destination using five easy-to-operate machines.

This service contemplates the installation of an assembly plant integrated to your company’s productive process. In just 225 square feet it’s possible to install the machinery, storing up to 200 assembled drums, as well as a stock of components for 2.880 more drums.

Our qualified technicians supervise the installation and start-up of the assembly plant and also provide the necessary training to start activities. A technical visit is scheduled at least once a year, according to the particular needs of each client.

The QMS solution is specially designed for customers who require a large number of metal drums in a short period, have limited storage space, or are located far from manufacturing plants, such as agro-industrial companies (fruit and vegetable pulp, purees, and concentrated juices), lubricant companies, mining and chemical industries, among others.

Removable lid cylindrical drums are specially designed for the packaging of lubricant oil, vegetable oil, solvent, industrial detergent and agricultural products, among others.

 

    • Some versions of the removable lid barrel are certified for maritime transportation of hazardous substances, according to the United Nations international standards. The standard closing system is available in two different caps in its upper part, of 2” and ¾” respectively. Caps feature their own safety seals.
  • Los tambores con tapa removible son principalmente usados en la agroindustria para jugos, pasta de maní, pulpas y purés.Ya sea para contacto directo con el alimento o a través de bolsas asépticas. One of the main and most common products of the agro-industry is concentrated fruit juices. These are used not only for making beverages and soft drinks but also as a natural sweetener for many foods consumed worldwide. As often happens, the primary markets for these goods are far from the main production areas. This is where logistical efficiency becomes crucial, and the best packaging systems must be utilized. The neck-in drum produced by Rheem is shipped from our factory to the plants of the leading concentrated juice producers in the Southern Cone. From there, it reaches every corner of the world in the best conditions, protecting its quality and optimizing loading volumes in containers and throughout the entire logistics chain.

CLARIFIED BUCKETS

It's no surprise that purchasing decisions are influenced by the appearance of things. Therefore, an attractive container is essential, and it's even better when consumers can see the true appearance of the product through the packaging, such as paints, foods, and more. This is why Rheem, at the beginning of 2017, started a development process with various raw material suppliers to achieve translucent containers without losing the required functional properties. Today, we are present in every region with our Kolor framework in partnership with Sodimac.

QMS SOLUTION
Optimizing costs in logistics, minimizing storage space, ensuring permanent stock and importing more efficiently: all of this is at hand’s reach when hiring our solution drums on destination.
How does this service work?
This service contemplates the installation of an assembly plant integrated to your company’s productive process. In just 225 square feet it’s possible to install the assembly plant, keeping up to 200 assembled drums in store as well as a stock of 2.880 drums ready to assemble. Our qualified team of technicians supervises the installation and start-up of the assembly plant and also provides the necessary training to start activities. We schedule a technical visit at least once a year, according to the particular needs of each client. Drums travel to your company already painted and decorated, to be kept in storage until assembly. This solution represents thousands of dollars worth in savings per year, among many other productive advantages, such as flexibility when facing the demands of a fluctuant market. Collapsed drums optimize from six to eight times their transport capacity, and storage increases from 10 to 15 times when compared to traditional cylindrical drums.
